New ecologically friendly car from CHINA!?

Okay, it sounds like a good car. I think before we start buying up these cars like Hot Cakes, we need to find out if they've FINALLY stopped using lead base paint.

Accidents blamed on weather?!

I get so tired of hearing reporters saying accidents are blamed on the weather. The weather does not cause accidents. What causes the accidents are people that are not using proper precautions during certain weather conditions. I believe when people hear this, subconsciously they believe it's not as bad to have an accident during these conditions.

Automakers Bailout

The auto makers think that we MUST bail them out on their terms, or the whole country will collapse. The pity is, they may be right. What sticks in my craw is that they're not even talking about taking a pay cut. Everybody knows automakers have one of the best pay/compensation plans in the country. Like the CEO's, I think they need to tighten their belts a little. Why should we bail them out if they're not going to meet us half way?

advertisers need to earn their money

I don't think it takes much talent to create commercials these days. I think somebody should make a law that you can't use the rythm of "A Visit From St. Nick." (Twas the Night Before Christmas.) There must be a million of them.
Also, I don't recommend using the phrase, "My name is ------- and I approve this message." When people here that, they automatically figure they've just been lied to.
